Description of 1941 Ford Other Pickups truck

1941 ford pickup. This is an older restoration. All steel body all original truck with original running gear. The metal is in very good shape no cancer. and no rot anywhere that i can see. Flathead runs and drives great. I did convert it to a 12 volt system thats the only real modification made to this truck. Starts up and drives very good. it does give a little smoke in between shifts typical of an old flathead. I drive it around town and also on the freeway with no problems. I do not drive faster then 55 mph. The truck is in very good condition for its age. The previous owner had it since 1953. The floor in the cab is in very good shape no holes or rust. the cab corners and door bottoms are also in great condition no rot or cancer. the door panels are in very good condition widows crank up and down ok. the door lock does need to be replaced. a $15 dollar part). The original heater turns on and works. the headlights. dash gauge lights. and break lights work as well as the blinkers. All gauges work as well. The truck is complete with all body parts except the rear bumper the rear bumper is not there. i bought it that way. The previous owner did all the bodywork himself he did a good job but the tail gate will need some more attention as far as smoothing out. the previous owner also painted all the exterior chrome pieces with gray paint it dosent look that bad. but chrome will look much nicer. The previous owner also did the paint job on the truck himself. so the paint it not that great and the truck will need to be painted at some point to give it that finish look. Overall this is a very good running and driving truck. The VIN numbers on the frame rail match the VIN on the title. I have the title in hand. I am the fourth owner of this truck since new. This is not a show truck but with some TLC and some attention this can easily become one. This truck is in very good shape and would be very easy to finish. Please ask all questions before you buy.
