This car had an older restoration approx 25 years ago, was used for awhile and then just sat in a garage for many years before our acquisition last year. The body is all metal. No filler that we can tell. The underside has been inspected and there is virtually no rust anywhere. We have gone through the car, fixing and repairing most of the mechanical issues from sitting for so long. Its now a nice number 3 driver. Everything works as it should and is in decent working condition. Engine was rebuilt approx 6-7K miles ago. Runs fine, starts easily and was recently tuned w/NOS Motorcraft parts. A Ford dress up kit was installed when rebuilt. Aluminum valve covers, chrome air cleaner and a few other chromed items under hood. All fluids have been changed. Engine oil/filter/zinc, trans fluid/filter, differential fluid, brake fluid and antifreeze. Brakes have been serviced with all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders and front brake hoses. Drums were like new. Also replaced lower control arms, bushings and ball joints along w/a basic alignment. Interior is in decent overall shape. Drivers side seat bottom does have a seam split, and drivers armrest has a very small split in the rear corner of the handhold. (see pics) The balance of the interior is quite serviceable as is. Paint is decent. Looks great from a few feet away. However it has numerous chips and minor blemishes throughout. Again this car is a nice looking and running driver that you don't have to worry about a stone kicking up. Styled Steel Wheels in very nice condition too. Power convertible top is in good shape. No rips, tears or through holes. It has some minor cracking at the outer edge piping where the top folds. Also has some dirt/staining where the top rests on the framework below. Plastic rear window is intact, is still quite flexible and is pretty clear too. The car is very nice condition #3 driver. Jump in it, put the top down and cruise with your honey! It's a great appreciating investment you can enjoy right now while it continues to increase in value year after year.
