Description of 1946 Ford Other Pickups

This original example of a 1946 Ford F-1 was purchased in Longmont, CO in 1949 by my great uncle (Arthur Cunningham, "Art"). Art was a mechanic by trade with a pit and workshop at his residence, but he frequently made house calls for mechanical repairs for his clients. He passed away in 1985 (he last registered/licensed the truck in 1980). In 1986 his son/my uncle (Harold Davidson, "Hal") moved the truck from his mother's home in Longmont to his home in Northglenn, CO (about 27 miles South). Hal parked the truck in his garage after that trip and it remained there in storage for decades. My uncle Hal was a union sheetmetal worker who favored his Chevy Truck, Blazer and VW 412 squareback over the old Ford, so it didn't receive much of his attention. It gathered dust and garage clutter was stacked all around/underneath of it and even loaded into the bed over the years. My uncle Hal passed away in 2014, luckily in 2009 he had new title issued in CO citing his wife ("Wendy") as co-owner. My aunt Wendy has asked me to help her market the truck, so on 9/20/20 we decluttered her garage to unencumber the truck for movement, put a little air in the rear tires (fronts were still inflated) and eased it out of her garage with her Yukon and a tow strap. We broomed it out/off, washed it off, and the gallery below (as well additional photos and video at the following FLICKR address: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmR6gRFi) is what we found. This is as much history as I have on the truck, there are no service records or documentation that have survived the span of time, unfortunately.
Disclosures;- VIN tag (battery acid corrosion makes it illegible) found within functioning glovebox,- Spare rear window glass undamaged is included,- Spare set of tires and wheels are included,- Battery (uninstalled) is included,- Tow chain (in period burlap sack) is included,- Door lock key is broken off inside of ignition switch, ignition key still intact,- Clean/clear CO title will transfer to new owner along with CO bill of sale,- ODO reads 93,805 but True Mileage is Unknown ("TMU"),- Ran when parked in 1986, undetermined if it has ran since.
Conditions of Sale;- Truck is sold "as-is, where-is" with no warranties or guarantees expressed nor implied,- 50% of hammer price due within 48 hours via wire or priority overnight certified funds,- 50% of remaining price due upon delivery in-person via cash, wire, or certified funds,- Once all funds clear the institution upon which they are drawn, Title Transfer and Bill of Sale will be executed,- Pre-purchase Inspections ("PPIs") are welcomed, contact me directly to schedule with notice,- Hammer price and or performance of adequate assurance upon close of auction are not contingent upon PPIs.
I am available to assist with arranging transportation and logistics remotely, as I am not a resident of CO but have plenty of industry contacts for such matters if you need a referral for service. You're definitely going to want to procure a transport that has a winch to pull the truck onto a trailer or rack. A service truck with a compressor would be a prudent move as well in the event the tires need air.
You're welcome to text/call me at 801-580-7917 for serious inquiries only, please - or chat me in eBay Motors new app to maintain your anonymity, "ask seller a question" or the in-app email inquiries will take the last priority for my response as they are both slow and time consuming. I am fair and transparent in my dealings and would appreciate being treated the same in return.
