You are looking at a:

1947 Full Custom Ford Coupe

The incredible craftsmanship and custom fabrication of this 47 Ford was completed by “Street Rods by Dowdy” in AZ .

There are too many details to list but the high points are evident in the pictures and described below.

The paint isHouse of Kolors “True Blue” and all stripes are painted as well.The full leather interior and trunk was created by Gabes Custom Interiors of CA, as seen on TV custom car builders shows.Vintage Air, Alpine Stereo, electric doors, windows and trunk release.

The engine is a GM 350 with a B&M blower that’s estimated 450-500 hp. GM Turbo 350 transmission with 3500 stall.

The chassis is as impressive as the exterior with boxed powder coated frame and GM front subframe and 10 bolt rear. Air Ride front suspension with an onboard compressor in the trunk.

Everything on the car is high end custom. Look at stock 47 Ford coupe photos to appreciate the design and end result of this custom. Few builders have the experience and skills to chop a roof, with seamless style and integrity as evidenced on this car.

The cost in 2003 exceeded $90K with most receipts included. Only driven 7500 miles in 16 years.
