Description of 1971 Ford Mustang

1971 Mustang Convertible. Just out of hibernation. Collector passed on a few years ago and the family has decided to let Grandpa's fun car go. After servicing and adding gas the car fired right up after several years storage. It drives fine and even has a working A/C. It doesn't smoke. has no leaks and sounds great. ESTATE SALE: I'm helping my neighbors locate a new owner for this very collectible model Mustang. It should be checked out thoroughly before long distance driving as it has been setting. Hoses. belts. etc. for precautionary reasons. I drove the car across town and the brakes worked well and transmission shifted as it should. All the gauges worked as did the lights. blinkers. brake lights. etc. The high bidder will pay and receive title directly from the owners. Paint is old. but looks good from a few feet. Not perfect. But the car has zero rust and shows no evidence of ever having body damage. Top boot is in the trunk and in a couple pictures I laid it on the top. but didn't fasten down. We are putting it for sale with a very low reserve! Just needs a new home. I can help locate shippers worldwide at the buyers expense. Incidentally the car has it's original blue Calif. plates. ( they started after the famous "black plates") The car is being put up for sale locally too. so need to reserve the right to end early. Car is sold as is. where is. It does need a new top. but has the real glass rear window. Tops are easy to find on line. The interior is decent. The power top works perfect. It was stored inside. so looks extremely well for it's age. Please let me know if you want more pictures or information. Parts are readily available for these Mustangs from several sources.
