Description of 1978 Ford F-150

1978 Ford F150 Ranger Explorer TrimBulletproof inline 6 cyl with only 88k original miles!Condition is Used. I bought this beauty back in April and had it shipped to central Illinois from Delaware. An unanticipated divorce forces the sale. The previous owner had extensive ($3000+) work done and included all receipts for complete brake work including master cylinder, shoes, calipers, pads, lines, etc. He also put in a new gas tank, new battery, new belts, starter assembly, alternator, plugs and 4 new tires - as well as a carburetor rebuild. WHAT I'VE HAD DONE SINCE: New starter solenoid, battery cable, voltage regulator, valve gasket cover and a brand new radiator with custom made copper lines + new upper and lower hoses. I've also had the grounding wires for the headlights, taillights and brake lights replaced. I will also include all of my receipts. The truck starts right up and runs like a top - no hesitation, hiccups or smoke. Transmission shifts smoothly. It has the original paint and yes, there's some rust in the bed - which is 48" x 96". The dashboard has a couple of cracks and it could use a new bench seat - which I currently have covered. It's not perfect or I'd be asking 10 times this price as these are now very hard to come by - especially with such low miles. First $3500 takes it. I'm selling at a loss because I have no choice and need to move it fast. Comes with a clean title and I'll even throw in the seat cover and an extra set of hubcaps. If she goes to the right home, some parts from LMC Truck dot com in Kansas and a factory burnt orange paint job will make her complete and worth $25-35k. I just do not have the money or time. Oh well: My loss, your gain. Truck is listed locally, so I reserve the right to cancel at any time. BTW, I can't go anywhere without at least one thumbs-up, "Nice truck!" or questions about year and mileage.
