Description of 1966 Ford Fairlane GT S CODE HARDTOP

An All aluminum FE big block 427 sideoiler built by Keith Craft (Engine alone cost near 22K to build). all exact information on the build and dyno sheets are available with the purchase of the car. but here is a brief description: -Aluminum POND cross-bolt sideoiler block. 482 CI stroker crank (scat forged I-beam rods. 4340 steel crank 4. 250 stroke). Zero balanced. 650 HP @ 6400 RPM. 490 FT. LB. torque @ 5. 00 RPM. 10. 5 compression for use with today's fuel. -Comp solid roller cam. # 33-000-9. Edelbrock / KEITH CRAFT stage 2 aluminum heads. stainless valves. CNC ported W / T&D roller rocker assemblies. all other valvetrain comp-brand. -Blue thunder medium rise dual four intake (port-matched to the heads) with new MATCHED Quickfuel 750CFM carburetors and Ford oval aircleaner assembly (carburetors supplied thru Barry Robotnick at SURVIVAL MOTORSPORTS)- 8-quart moroso oil pan. -POWERMASTER brand hi-torque starter-Coated longtube headers with / X pipe and full aluminized exhaust. -Aluminum radiator & catch can. new 427 ram-air fiberglass hood (both from CRITES INDUSTRIES). - Factory HEH-CL wide ratio toloader 4-speed transmission with new Hurst competition plus shifter. new flywheel & clutch assembly. all installed during the engine install. -Holley blue electric fuel pump & BG fuel pressure regulator. -Factory Fairlane GT ford 9-inch rearend with the original 3:25 TRAC LOC (for drivability). -Custom made subframe connectors. all underside surfaces have been undercoated for sound-deadening and use for a fun driver. -Manual steering & manual drum brakes. just as the car came originally. -New AUTOGAGE gauges- New carpet. headliner. package tray. front seat foam rebuilt / replaced (factory dashpad. seatcovers. doorpanels still intact and untouched. -New hoses. belts. heater core. etc. -New weatherstrip. trunkmat. trunk fillers. etc. -recent rechromed bumpers--Exceptional BFG radial T/A tires with style steel wheelsThe car started as an extremely clean original low mile S-code GT 390 4-SPEED bucket seat and console car. The floors. torque boxes and underbody sheetmetal all appear solid and upon inspection i did not see any readily apparent rust or rot (jack can answer any questions concerning this. feel free to call. )-Most of the aftermarket pieces were bought thru AUTOCRAFTERS or DEARBORN CLASSICS. -Recent repaint over a nice straight body (the factory color was emberglow with a parchment interior. )The only reason for selling the car is due to so much money being spent on it to get it to this point the owner has lost interest. All of the major work is finished. it's ready to enjoy just as it sits or do some extremely small detail work (the fun part) and make it an exceptional example of it's breed. It's in much better than driver quality. just needs some minor detail.
