Built in California, Sold new in California, Resided in California for 66 years. This is the epitome and definitionof a California Wagon that has never left the state. You're simply not going to find another 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon in this kind of original condition. Built in December of 1955 in Long Beach, CA and sold new in the San Francisco bay area. This car has been in the same family since 1968, it was purchased locally form the original owner out of a newspaper in the east bay to be used at the vacation home in Lake Tahoe. The car sat in the climate controlled garage in Lake Tahoe along with a 1962 Ford F100 for over 6 decades only used during summers while on vacation in Lake Tahoe. With only 97k miles on the odometer this car exemplifies low milage survivor from a bygone era.This kind of originality cannot be duplicated, this is not a restored car and the details are important to note. Like the "Branding Iron" upholstery a rare option only available on the Ranch Wagons. It is in almost flawless original condition.
