Rare 1949 Kaiser Traveler. Now powered by a Chrysler 318, Runs and drives nice. Has been off the road for 10+ years. Just went through mechanically to get her running again.
Very solid car that was freshened up back in the 80s and garaged since. Has recently sat outside for 6 months, but now back in indoor storage. Interior is complete and presentable. Body is straight and solid, has older paint. Onr chip in driver side windshield.Horn ring is not working and just placed on steering wheel.
This car was produced for only a couple years and there are very few still around. The hatchback was designed to open by a lower and upper hatch, and when folding down the rear seat, it allowed for 8 feet of room. The passenger rear door was factory welded as that is were the spare tire was mounted. Pretty cool and interesting design.
