Description of 1967 Ford Mustang

This is a 1967 “A” code convertible – meaning it is 8 cyl 289 cid/225 hp 4 bbl. There were only 42 of these A code convertibles with C-4 automatic transmission. painted Wimbledon White with red interior built in 1967! Freshly rebuilt original 289 motor. (Rebuilt by Chip Hane of EPS in Evergreen. Colorado) This convertible has been owned since 1972 by Walt Hane – 1966 SCCA B-Production National Champion (driving a Shelby GT350 R model). This ‘67 Ford Mustang convertible is fondly known as "Sally. " She is a great project car for a vintage Ford enthusiast looking to restore a 1960's Mustang convertible! This vehicle is valued at over $30. 00 fully restored. She is unique in that she has been stored in Walt Hane’s garage since 1982. Sally's original "A" Code 289 engine has just been completely rebuilt. as well as her C4 transmission. The original engine was recently broken-in on our engine dynometer and verified it has no leaks. no excessive oil consumption. no problems and runs well. As shown in our photos. these included parts come separate from the chassis so the vehicle is ready for body work. Axles and tires are in place so she will roll easily onto a trailer. Also included are a new torque converter. her original seats and full interior. new old stock taillights and bezels. and new bumpers front and back. She has her original factory convertible top with rear folding glass window. although she does need new top fabric. The chassis and body are in above-average condition and the only rust is surface rust. There's been some sheet metal repair in the engine compartment and battery tray area. along with the left rear quarter. Her ODO is just under 130. 00 miles. Her exterior is white with red interior. We even include her original 1967 build sheet and Marti Report! The 1967 Mustang: Of the: 472. 09 1967 Mustangs 44. 21 were convertibles.
