Description of 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe

A 1968 Mustang Coupe in really rather good shape. It has some rust issues in rear quarters and trunk deck and a dent in drivers door otherwise body is straight. It shows 98 thousand miles and by all indications that I can find this may very well be the original mileage but I can't confirm that for sure. do have some service invoices dating back into the 80s and mileage on those reflects a real possibility that 98 is now the actual mileage. but not entirely sure. Car has original 289 that has been rebuilt and a C-4 automatic transmission that has also been rebuilt. A few goodies were put in engine rebuild to give it a slight high performance status. Car runs real fast and strong. It has dual straight exhaust with Thrush mufflers to give it a real nice rumble. It has rear air shocks with rear leaf supports. Car has manual drum brakes(original) but does have original power steering. Exterior engine parts replaced include:Power Steering pumpNew Distributor with new vacuum advance unitNew Alternator and voltage regulatorCarb rebuild. Interior-Seats are not excellent but good. Dash pad needs replacing. door panels and kick panels are ok. Electrical-All gauges and lights work. right front blinker has a bad socket(I have one and am going to replace). ood indicators work but are inconsistant. I think sockets need corrosion cleaned out of them. It also has a Sony CD sound system installed. Cigarette lighter even still works. Car has new tires on Keystone classic Wheels although wheels are corroded and need refinishing. Trunk bed is good and rust free and don't know about interior floor under carpet. I see no evidence of rust but I've never pulled up carpet. Car has all original decals and emblems as well as original Pony Gas Cap. All in all Car is a decent looking. ood running car and lacks very little to complete it to mint condition.
