| Rare bird. one owner 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau! New paint! Hard to find a better '64 T-Bird for the price! This beautiful one-owner Silver Mink '64 T-Bird Landau was originally delivered to the Kansas City sales district and purchased from inventory by the Harrisonville. MO Ford dealership's owner and his wife for personal use. It was a Sunday driver. was stored in a garage and beautifully maintained. Living up to its original advertising this 4th generation T Bird ". is so beautifully different!" The body is rust free. with straight lines. and some of the best chrome you’re going to find on an original car. all mounted on a solid frame! This sweet ride has close to 67. 00 miles on it and was stored in a garage with precautions taken to preserve and to protect from humidity. The roof was replaced and it looks great! The car was recently repainted with the original metallic blue color known as “Silver Mink”. All pictures on this site were taken BEFORE the new paint! New pictures will be available soon. The original red interior is in amazing condition. the dash has no cracks. and the headliner looks like new. the original Thunderbird floor mats look great! The rear coved seat is beautiful and comfortable. 1964 is the first year of this body style. The car comes equipped with the original big block 390 cu in (6. 4L) FE V8. 4-valve. 300 Horsepower. The Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission is smooth shifting providing a comfortable ride with the tight suspension and brand new shocks. The Michelin tires are in great shape too! Additional comfort comes from the Swing-Away steering wheel. stock power steering. the new-to-1964 Reclining Passenger Seat option. air conditioning and the fully functional stock AM/FM radio! Each of the flight-deck controls and gauges work as do the windshield wipers and washer sprayers. The power brakes were recently serviced. The original owners passed away and the car was sold in August 2014. Since then the dual exhaust system from the manifolds to the tail pipes has been replaced. the cylinder heads have been rebuilt with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel. the four barrel carburetor has been replaced with a new Edlebrock 600 and the ignition points have been replaced with a Petronix ignition module upgrade. This T-Bird is tuned up and runs great! The car is ready for date nights. cruise nights and to take around to local car shows. I am ready to sell the car to make room for other projects. make me a reasonable offer!
