Description of 1962 Ford F-100

Bought this truck to haul water because I live in a very rural hilly area. I knew I needed four wheel drive to make through the hills. The brake system has been completely overhauled by Precision Brake out of St. Louis. MO (air assisted brakes. air pack. air pump. master cylinder. wheel cylinders. brake hoses and lines) all new linings and grease seals from Gouch Brake in Kansas City. MO. tires are new 11. 00 miles all ago. all six are mud cuts. New tail light assemblys. new drive shaft universals. new fuel sending unit. new clearance lights. overhauled 4 barrel holly. points and condensers. spark plugs. spark plugs wire. and other minor services. New dual exhaust with mufflers. Overhauled by Inland Truck Service contact person Joe. Coleman two speed transfer case and Clark V250 five speed transmission. For the last four years 13 trips for 14 miles one way to haul water for my family. I had a thousand gallon water tank on back (4 tons) this truck never had a lack of power. Averaged 5. 1 miles per gallon under heavy load. I would not be afraid to use this truck for any purposes needed. Even the air horn and air wipers work. This truck was originally owned by the United States Air Force as a plow truck for the run ways. The is still lots of air force paraphernalia in the cab. Then it was sold to the United States Forest Service. then to another owner and then to me. This truck has been very well maintained since manufactured. I can't tell you how much money I invested in this truck as it was my source of life. I no longer need this truck as we finally have rural water. Please feel free to ask any questions.
