Description of 1964 Ford Mustang |
| Rare Vinyl top 1964 ½ 1st generation Mustang Original white factory vinyl top. Owners Father bought new in May 1964 and then sold to daughter in 1987. Always garaged with 71400 actual miles. Stored for 15 years and then returned to original like condition by Dick Thompson Auto Refurbishing. Gas tank replaced and fuel lines plus hoses and fuel pump. Totally repainted in 2001 by Portner Auto Body to original color. Interior seat covers and carpet replaced at this time. Car like original except for dual exhaust and chrome rims. Factory 260 V8 and 3 speed fully synchronized on floor. Joe Oros ( Mustang designer) shown standing by a Burgundy white vinyl top Mustang at it's introduction. Have never seen a Mustang like this at Hot August Nights. Body trim # 65A color X Trim 89 Date 06E. Original hub caps and seat covers included. |
