We are the Best Deals on Classic Wheels!Here we have an Iconic 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback Coupe hardtop in its original Blue paint. This is Classic Ford styling. the iconic 289cid V8 will be fully rebuilt along with the transmission. These cars are impossible to find in this condition and this Galaxie Fastback will be a great ride. The engine and mechanicals will be brand new. the body is in very good overall condition. and the interior needs some work. but enjoy the car while you do the work! We love to drive these cars and work on them. it does nothing but make them increase in value while we smile ear to ear. This is a very clean and straight example that has clearly been well cared for over the years. The body is in very good shape. with very little rust and no rot damage. There are some nits and nats. minor dents and some flaky paint. but all are minor and easily repairable and they do not take much away from the elegance and presence of this Fastback Coupe. The car is in its original paint and has the much sought after patina. All the glass is intact and in good condition. and the chrome trim is in good shape as well. The interior is in fair condition and does need some work. The seats will need a recover and the headliner was removed to make way for a new one. The dash needs a new cover. but the instruments. the steering wheel. and gauges are all in good overall condition. Simply drive the car the way it is. with the rebuild engine and transmission. and work on the interior as you have the funds. We can also do the work for you if you want. just ask us for a quote. We were very impressed with the condition of the car underneath. The floors. frame rails and rocker panels are in great shape. with only a few spots of light surface rust and two small issues on the passenger side frame rail.
