These cars were known at the 2+2. It was sportier than the coupe and came with the ability to lay the back seat down. The one we have for you is a fresh build with slick paint and new interior. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Ford. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. When you walk around it you will see it has a laser straight body with great fit of the panels. Everything is covered in the black base clear paint that is slick and is accented by the Red stripe down low. At the time of the resto they installed new weather stripping to ensure a good fit of the doors and trunk. Also it has a new windshield and rear glass rubber as well. All the chrome is either new or has been polished. All the stainless looks good with the fog lights being added to the grill to give it the GT look. The final exterior touch is the set of stock steely rallys with the red line tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the Fastback. On the inside it’s all new and is done in Red to create the perfect flow from the exterior. It has the correct bucket seats and console. The dash pad is new along with the bezels in the dash. All the gauges in the dash look new as far as we can tell. The radio has been upgraded to the vintage AM FM. Everything from the horn to the lights is working. Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it’s powered by a 302 that dressed nice with Chrome valve covers and breather. Also it has an Aluminum intake. The engine bay is painted correct along with the engine. The Trans is a 4 Speed and when this car was done they added Disc Brakes. When you look under it the floors are all done in the Red Oxide.
