Description of 1966 Ford Bronco

Up for auction is a very. very nice 1966 Ford Bronco. It has an August of 1965 build date. I have made upgrades to the Bronco but tried to keep it as original as I could at the same time. It has a completely rebuilt 302 that runs excellent and cranks right up. It has all new internals and a mild cam that gives it plenty of power but still has a smooth idle. New starter. It has a new Edelbrock aluminum intake and new 4-barrel street and strip carb that works excellent. It has a new electronic ignition and all new plugs and wires. The exhaust is new and sounds excellent!!!! The motor has less than 25 miles on it along with the rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission and original transfer case from a 76 Bronco. It shifts great with no problems. The transfer case shifter has been replaced with the Duff J-Shifter that works perfectly. It has power steering from a 76 Bronco that also works great. The front end and rear end are out of the same 76 Bronco and they have both been completely rebuilt. The disc brake front end has all new bearings and seals. brakes. calipers. disc brake rotor/hub assemblies. Warn hubs. brake lines. and vent line. The rear is all new as well. It has a new power brake booster. bracket. and master cylinder along with proportioning valve. The suspension is all new (stock height) with all new ProComp shocks all the way around. The frame is in excellent shape. The tires are new BFGoodrich All-Terrains (LT235/75R15) with less than 25 miles on them. Wheels are new Ultra 5051's. This Bronco drives like a dream! The body on this bronco is outstanding. The rear fenders are uncut and original. It is sporting fresh paint that looks excellent! The inside has been lined with color matched bed liner (looks fantastic!). New higher quality chrome front and rear bumpers (the bronco had one "straight cut" original chrome bumper when I bought it and I will include it in this auction). The headlights. blinkers. parking lights. tail lights. and brake lights all work exactly as they should. The blinkers cancel perfectly. The column is from the same 76 Bronco. It has a new windshield and rubber gasket. The wipers have been converted from vacuum to electric. I did not want to add anything to the front of the original dash so I placed the knob for the wipers right under the steering column underneath the dash in an existing hole. New wipers and arms. The wiper washer system is all new and works great! The steering wheel is correct for the 66 bronco including the very nice chrome horn ring. Everything works on this bronco except for the cigar lighter and the heater (being that it is a roadster and most likely not going to see any "less than perfect" weather. I decided to wait on installing an old heater box. I figure someone might want to add AC or something and use the heater box that comes with it). I did go ahead and replace all of the heater controls with new ones that are excellent quality. Also replaced the defrost duct and flex duct (just not hooked up to anything at the moment). New glove box liner. The seats are original buckets from the 66 but. of course. they have been recovered. It has new sun visors (same as seats) and chrome rods. It has a new dash pad and chrome windshield knobs. It has a new 4-point roll bar which allows for 3-point seat belts that are new as well. It has a new CD player that has an Aux jack and also has a USB port to plug in your phone. The speakers aren't much but they sound good and are easily removable. This bronco was originally a full cab (wagon) and it originally had a 170 cubic inch straight six cylinder motor. 3-speed on the column. and straight transfer case shifter. I have the original doors in excellent shape that are painted to match the rest of the truck. They will be included in this auction. I also have the original full top that hasn't been painted and it has a few dents and dings but it is very solid and could be reworked. It will also be included in this auction. I replaced the grill. hood. and tailgate. but the original ones will be included if the new owner is interested in them. I still have most of the items that have been replaced on this bronco. but I do not have the original motor. transmission. transfer case. or column. This is basically a new 1966 Ford Bronco. It has tons of upgrades yet an original look that forces everyone who sees it to stop and stare!!! I've tried to include all the information I have on this bronco but I'm sure that I've left something out so please ask any and all questions before bidding and I will do my very best to answer as quickly as possible. If you would like to see more pictures or videos. feel free to email me and I will send them asap. You can also send your cell number and I can text you anything you would like to see on this bronco. This bronco is for sale locally. I reserve the right to end auction at any time. Thanks so much for looking and good luck!!
