Description of 1967 Ford Ranchero |
You are looking at a nice 1967 Ford Ranchero. This car runs and drives good. It has a 302 V8 out of a low mile Ford Explorer with the GT40 p heads. It has an Edelbrock 4BBL intake and carb. It has a C6 automatic transmission and a Ford 9" rear end. This was an older build. The paint was done long before I owned the car and still shows very good. It does have some chips due to the lovely New England roads. At the end of last summer I powdercoated and painted all the trim satin black and two toned the bumpers gunmetal grey and black. The interior was started before I bought it. The headliner was done the pillars were wrapped the dash was rewrappedthe seats were recovered and the carpet was replaced. The wheels and tires are brand new with less than 200 miles on them. The wheels are Wheel Replica Torq Thrust and the tires are Nitto NT555. The fronts are 245-40-18 and the rears are 275-35-18. The car has 4 wheel drum brakes and manual steering. The bed shows that it was used at some point. Has dings and dents. I painted the bed flat black to make it a little more presentable. If you are looking for a #'s matching 10 out of 10 car then you should keep looking because this isn't it. If you are looking for a good solid car that you can make your own and tinker with a little at a time and still get lots of compliments while you do then this is it. I drive this car to cruise nights and take it out on the weekends and it always get compliments and never has left me stranded. I have recently replaced all the wheel studs (front & rear) brake light switch idler arm and fuel sending unit. The heater core went two years ago and I have a new one but have not installed it because I haven't needed it. The horn doesn't work and I haven't checked it. The speedometer also is inop which has been that way as long as I've owned it. I am selling this car to fund another build. It has a clean MA title. Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask any questions. |
