1966 Ford Mustang Pegasus Custom Convertible This incredible Mustang is nothing like Lee Iacocca ever envisioned. With over 150 modifications and a nickname that describes its performance this is truly a one of kind vehicle. The moniker "Pegasus" invokes the speed power and agility of the mythical winged horse of ancient days. But believe us this is no ancient animal. With a drive train that puts out well over 400 horses through a smooth shifting T-5 5 speed transmission and 9 inch posi 3.50 rear end the fun is just beginning. It cruises down the road with ease and a performance that matches its exterior appearance. This fantastic and rare Mustang came out of a collection of truly unique and well turned out cars from the Phoenix area. Features Rebuilt 289 block that has been punched to 306 CID with a Comp Cam and Holley 600 4V Carb Pumps are managed by a March Serpentine Belt set-up Ford T-5 5 speed manual transmission with a modified short throw shifter Front suspension utilizes chrome coil over shocks and Mustang II Rack and Pinion Steering The rear uses KYB shocks with HD 5 leaf 1.5 in. lower springs to support the 9 inch 3.50 rear end Braking is provided via 4 wheel slotted and drilled disc brakes Seats are Pro Car Racing fit with 4 Point Harnesses split by a custom built console with parking brake lever The top and rear seat have been removed and replaced with a custom tonneau cover with 2.5 inch roll bars behind each seat In the dash is a 7 inch DVD/Navigation system with a backup camera and 1800 watt sound system Full Instrumentation is by TPI Tech in a custom brushed aluminum panel with Push Button Start The wheels are Boyd 17X8 inch with Yokohoma 235/40/17 Z rated black walls Dual Custom made "Stealth" exterior Rear View Mirrors and wide angle 6 lane rear view mirror The exhaust is a custom built dual system with electric cutouts that sounds awesome The grill is custom with Shelby street racing apron and Tri Bar Headlights Steering column is a Polished Billet Tilt with a Carbon Fiber Wrapped Wheel The doors are two way Lambo Style with Billet handles and custom panels Detailed Engine Bay and Custom Trunk liner and floor with hidden storage There is a lot more than there simply is not room to list here so give us a call
