Description of 1934 Ford Other Pickups

Fairly priced immaculate 1934 Ford Pick Up available now to drive and enjoy. Needs nothing full frame off restoration of an excellent metal original truck.

It looks great runs great sounds great and is totally reliable and comfortable. It starts right up and with its Borg Warner overdrive can be taken out on the highways from town to town for lots of fun. Included is the huge folder of all receipts documenting what was done for the entire build as well as full photo documentation along the way. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Exterior

The name of the color is Super Red and it sure appropriate. All solid metal throughout the paint laid down great then was completely rubbed out for a smooth bright finish to show off this classic Early Ford V8 truck. Note the subtle dark blue pin stripe to accent the deco lines of the original metal body.

Many chrome accents complete the build such as the hood handles spare mount tailgate brackets exhaust tipsnot in photos etc. Set of Bridgestone Dueler H/T 215/70's mounted on 16" powder coated rims. Has tilt out windshield working cowl vent Ford Script glass dual mirrors and dual tail lights with blue dots working Sparton horn freshly varnished oak wood bed.

The undercarriage is completely clean and highly detailed and is easy to maintain since the frame and many suspension/chassis elements have been powder coated.

Mechanics

The goal of the mechanical portion of the build was to provide a more modern driving experience without going too far from the truck's origin. What a nice change of pace to get into a 1934 Ford and not deal with all the issues of a fully stock vehicle. With the elements described below that goal was achieved.

The 59AB motor has been completely rebuilt with a bore of .040. It has all new components such as pistons rings valves rods bearings crank lifters etc. The 12 volt conversion with Optima lends to easy push button starts every time. Cut off switch on the passenger side engine compartment.

It has a Borg Warner #10 overdrive which has been fully reconditioned with new bearings seals etc. It has been altered resplined and coupled to fit the Ford drive shaft and torque tube. This unit is electrically operated and can be shifted from standard drive to Overdrive and vise versa at any speed greater than 25 MPH. This gives the car 30% higher gear. Even has speedometer correction.

Has a rebuilt 1935 transmission with new flywheel and clutch. A full juice brake kit from the Early V8 Garage was installed all new wheel bearings pressurized radiator with overflow tube. Electric fuel pump with on/off switch. And dual exhaust with Smittys and chrome tips for a nice mellow tone. Chrome tips just added not in photos.

Interior

Soft comfortable interior no back pain while driving this pick up. The 3 original gauges work also has SW gauges for Temp and oil pressure the original steering wheel and dash are fully restored has seat belts hidden turn signals

Other

Included with the sale are all the build photos and receipts a custom sized car cover with storage bag extra set of keys and a full sized spare like the ones the truck is driving on.
