Description of 1964 Ford F-100 Custom Cab

This an unbelievable truck with history back to new and comes with a stack of documentation. I have personally owned this truck since 1991. Ford only built approx. 1500 four wheel drives in 1964 and probably not a lot left and certainly none or few as nice as this. Recently completed frame off restoration at a classic auto restoration shop all activities documented with hundreds of photos. The only rust was a small patch in the back bottom of the cab and at the bottom of the tail light panel of the bed where you would expect no other corrosion anywhere. Each repaired properly with new metal. The tailgate attaching hardware and chains are all brand new out of ford boxes I have had stored for years. Once body work was completed a new coat of "admiral blue" base coat clear coat was attached and the results speaks for itself. All running gear was treated to new gaskets seals and fluids the 'y' block 292 received the same and new water pump radiator flushed and pressure tested new total complete brake system fuel lines shocks tires and wheels and a myriad of small parts and incidentals with no expense spared. The truck starts runs and drives like new. There are no squeaks or rattles. The driveline operation is flawless and the 292 is so smooth. On the inside that is the original seat and upholstery indicating the care this vehicle has had in the last 51 years. A tachometer was installed in the dash at some point in it's life which not being factory correct look good and is a nice feature same for the wheels and tires. All else is 99.9 percent factory correct. yes the mileage is correct. This never has been and is not a mud bogger or ditch jumper. This is an investment quality one of basically none piece of Ford truck history. It really belongs in a museum or your personal collection you decide. The reserve is high. Please no foolish questions. If you like what you see good luck bidding. 501-318-3444 for technical or specific information. Vehicle located in central Arkansas.
