Description of 1972 Ford Mustang

I bought this 1972 Ford Mustang from the second owner after looking for a 1972 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland for over five months The car was originally sold by Cline-Moore Auto Sales in Rutherford NC to the owners wife Ann Cline. One of the main attractions of this Mustang outside of the fact that it is completely original is the paper trail that comes with it. As you can see the car has the original window sticker. the bill of sale to Anne Cline. the owners manual. the ownership card. starting instructions. warranty facts. and all the NC state vehicle inspection receipts from the first one that instead of the mileage it says new on it to the last one documented with Ann Cline's name on it dated 5/11/94. There is also a lot of other documentation from the second owner that is equally impressive. The second owner bought the car from her in 2005 after it had been sitting for many years and revitalized it. He then took it a number of shows where it won best in class for it's originality but he rarely drove it. When I bought the car in June I put added a new gas tank. The old tank looked new but it had 20 gallons of gas that had gone bad. I added a new sending unit. new fuel line. new fuel pump. rebuilt the carb. new timing assembly. new plugs. wires. nbsp;distributor. and new transmission filter. Also a new muffler. tale pipe and new rear chrome bumper. nbsp;Finally all the fluids were flushed out and replaced. The result is a very strong running 351 Cleveland engine that can really get up the road. The car has the original exterior paint. nbsp;vinyl top. carpet set. seats. dash pad. headliner. radio and rear trunk liner. The spare tire has never been on the car. I also took some close up pictures of the factory paint inspection stamps that are still there. I often see some of the cars exterior paint quality that are advertised on eBay put in terms of the number of feet that you should stand away from them before the paint looks good. This car is a 12 incher. Yes inches. It is all ordinal except that the hood and trunk had some deep dings in them so I had them repainted. The engine compartment and under carriage have been detailed. Nothing concourse but very nice. The second owner also added AC to the car that cost over $1000. To be honest I have know idea if it works. I also have a Marti Report for the vehicle for what that is worth. If you have who have purchased a car on eBay sometimes the difference between what someone describes as excellent and original often in the eye of the beholder. This one is really nice. Don't take my word for it. I encourage anyone in the Baltimore area to come and see the car for yourself. It truly is as described. If you have any questions please call Reese at 410-299-0557;
