Description of 1959 GMC Other

1959 GMC short box stepside pickup. This pickup is original except it was in the process of being converted to a 4 wheel drive. The axles are from a mid 80's chevy pickup. They are mounted good enough to drive but will need a little more work before you go mud bogging. The original transmission is being used so there is no transfer case installed. ((I guess that makes it still a 2 wheel drive. )) I have the original axles that were carefully removed and can be reinstalled if you like 2 wheel drive better. The motor has not been started for about 6 years but it ran great last time it ran. Transmission is good. Tires hold air. Seat needs redone. No rust on the box but it will need new wood. Box is not bolted to frame at this time.
