Description of 1973 GMC Other

Up for auction is a 1973 GMC C2500 Camper Special with a 8' long bed. 350 small block and a TH350 transmission. The rear end is a full float Corporate 14 bolt that has been rebuilt and has new shaft seals and new gear oil. The brakes have also been replaced and the transmission has been recently flushed and a new filter installed. It has a brand new battery (2 months old). The truck has dual tanks. each 20 gallons. with a toggle switch in the cab to select the tank. It also has an aftermarket trailer brake attachment in the cab as well. The truck will come with an extra Quadrajet carburator. The truck does run and drives well. There is a very small head gasket leak as the truck burns a small amount of coolant. The carburator could use a rebuild or a proper tuning as the fuel in the float bowl will drain out/evaporate out if left sitting for an extended period of time. This is a common issue with Quadrajets. The transmission has small leak at the torque converter seal. This has been a fantastic truck for me and the only reason I'm selling it is because I'm moving across the country. otherwise I'd be keeping it and performing the minimal amount of work that it requires to be a truly awesome work truck.
