Description of 1991 GMC Sierra 1500

Hello. and thanks for viewing my add. I have for sale a 1991 GMC Sierra short box pickup for sale that has been a project of mine for about 3 1/2 years. I have replaced the 6 cylinder motor with a built 454 and it has the stock 5 speed manual transmission. It has a new clutch. pressure plate and fly wheel also. last winter i replaced the box. cab corners and rocker panels and made new cab mounts. Typical rust problems for a vehicle from Minnesota. I was able to find a rust free box from the salvage yard and also both doors were replaced. It has Mickey Thompson 29. 5 X 15 X 15 Sportsman pro tires on the back. New inner tubes in both tires. new black out head lights and tail lights and I went with a roll pan instead of a rear bumper. The hood will either need to be replaced or redone by someone who is good with fiberglass. The air cleaner sticks out of the hood so i tried to make a cowl induction hood and it does the job but not so good on the looks. winshield needs replaced but i am including one with the truck. I removed the fuel tank and put a fuel cell in the bed of the truck so i could run dual exhaust done both sides of the truck instead of having to run down one side then back over. It has the fuel guage in the cell for a gm style guage just needs to be wired. original guages and all work fine. everything on the truck works I took my time and didn't cobble nothing. Now for the motor. it is a 454 bored 30 over. 10 to 1 compression. 98cc closed chambered heads. every piece on the heads were replaced and they were planed as well. it has a comp cam 280h cam. it has a real nice lope to it and is real responsive. it has true full roler rockers. new push rods and lifters. lifters are also comp cam as are the components in the heads also are comp cam parts. new roller timimg chain. it has a edelbrock air gap intake with a 750 holley carb. I was also able to find the right alternator bracket and power steering bracket so like i said nothing is rigged. I have welded the rear end solid so it is full possi all the time. I done this because all it done was spin the tire being a one wheel wonder and I was going to replace the differential anyways but have not done it yet. EVERY thing that could be replaced was replaced on this motor. all the major bolts. head rod bolts crank and timing bolts were all replaced with ARP bolts. Like i said this is my project truck and it is still in need of some work so keep that in mind. it needs to be finish sanded primered and final sanded and painted what ever color you may want. it is not new so please dont expect a show quality truck. The motor only has around 800 miles on it since i installed it give or take a few. I should point out that this is not a first car for a new driver. it will get away from ya pretty quick. it is fast. it is alot of fun to drive. I do not offer any warranty with this vehicle. I put salvaged title but the title is clean and on hand. I done this because it does need to be finished. it is driveable and safe everything work fine. Not really a winter driver. A local engine builder set down with me to make the motor and although i have not had it on a dyno on paper it should be around 550 to 600 horse. that is just speculation. This is a as-is where-is sale it is the buyers resposibility to set up and arrange pick-up and delivery. I will asist with loading any way i can. Please serious bidders only. have a question just ask cell# 507-440-1642 my name is Gary or just text. Thanks for looking
