Description of 1963 GMC Sierra 1500

this '63 GMC 305 v-6 3sp manual was converted using a '69 dodge 383 engine and matching 727 torqueflight auto trans in '73. truck had 59k mi. and engine had 49.9k mi. last year of registration expired in '79 . however locals tell me it was used locally long after that. odometer shows 83,450.balancer moves a little in each direction so i know its not froze up. no key but wheels roll and it steers. trans locks the wheels when in park. was running when parked.greats parts truck or easy restore. pretty solid truck and complete...some rusting at the lower front fenders but the rest is pretty good for 52 years old.a little brake work (and some other minor adjustments) and some gas is all it may take and away you'll go. but of course "noguaranty"
currently NOT RUNNING but does roll and steer but does not stop..(however does have an E brake)...could be just a little low on fluid, ut i dunno...i'm just saying.....
