Description of 1963 GMC Sierra 1500

Up for sale is my "project" 63 gmc sierra 1500 or just chevy c10 practically one in the same minus the fact the GMC has a 4 piece headlight front end rather than the 2 on c10. It is a stepside bedIts maybe 1/2 through the restoration stage. The frame was stripped down and painted with epoxy primer. Rebuilt front and rear brakes with parking cablesNew cab mountsRebuilt the steering column 3 on the treeThe entire truck was taken apart and I had started in the front obviouslyThe front end is complete minus some repair work to the hood which will be finished before the saleThe engine runs amazing and has solid compression across all 6 cylinder within 15%New clutch kit. ll new gaskets. ew ignition. ebuilt the carb. ew rear and front seal. ew radiator and hoses. ew battery. ew starter. ew master cylinder. so much to do. he foundation is solid just needs someone with some time who could finish putting it together. It has cab corner rot about the size of a half dollar and the outer cab floor/rocker panels. I have the cab corners. and the rocker/floors pans only cost 150 I have done so much to it to list. I have new cab corners. ed strips. indow channels. eadlight buckets and beauty rings. ail lights. front bed panels and 3 bed cross sills. The new fenders and other body panels alone cost me 1k. I am not looking to make money off the truck if i was i would keep it and finish it. Everything that has been painted has been epoxy primered and sprayed with hot rod black. I still have a remaining gallon of the black. All i am missing is a real bumper and its mounts. I repaired the bed sides for the most part. It has a clean titled. registered and insured and could be driven once all the lights are put back on. Bad: rocker panels have minor rot- need replacedFloor pans where it meets the rocker panels has rot- not the entire pan just the strip that runs parallel with the rockersRear fenders as mentioned have rot at the bottom of the wells No wood for bed i do have the entire bolt kit approximately $300 in bolts from LMCHas mis match tires Passenger door need has minor rot on inside bottom. atch panel is availableAll and all the cost the the patch panels is around 250 and the cab would be essentially mint. The bed is a choice call. ither do repair work or buy new fenders for 300. ONE MORE TIME: let me clarify; for this truck to be completed NEEDS rocker panels and outer floor pans. they are on there and are not a major eye sore but they will need replacing approximately $175NEEDS bed wood kit. approximately $300 from a wide range of sellersNEEDS work done to the passenger door. they sell a patch panel for the bottom costs $50NEEDS some work done to the rear fenders at the lower edgesNEEDS some touching up on the bed sides. you could just bed liner them but if you want them to be painted and "show worthy" you will need to massage out dings and pitsNEEDS a windshield. has a crack about 8" in itI am trying to be as fourth coming and honest as possible I don't try to screw anyone over if you have any questions and want to request more specific photos feel free to message me and ill respond promptly. Thank youUpdate ive added a picture of the bed partially installed. i will sand down the bed sides and have them in primer before sale. they will still need to be addressed at a later time. but the primer will preserve it in the mean time. The hood and grill will be finished and photos updated before auction ends. 12-31-14
