Description of 1970 GMC C10 Short Box Step Side Truck

This truck received lots of work after being found in a barn after 31 years.

The 250 6 Cylinder engine received a complete tune up including new spark plugs, plug wire set, points, condenser & rotor. The single barrel Rochester carb was rebuilt. New water pump, new belt and new radiator hoses. The water pump is also new. Most gaskets were also replaced including front and rear main seals.

The steering box was replaced, new tie rod ends and a front endalignment was performed.

The brakes are also completely new. The brake master cylinder, all 4 brake drums, front and rear brake shoes, all new wheel cylinders, all new steel brake lines and new flex lines. The parking brake cables are also new.

Complete new exhaust system from exhaust manifold to tail pipe. This truck also has four brand new all season radial tires.

The cab mounts and radiator support mounts are all new too! The short bed floor is 3/4 Inch plywood painted with 3 coats of satin black paint on both sides.

This rare truck starts, runs and drives great!

All lights are new (4 new Halogen sealed beam headlamps), new front fender marker lights, all new tail lights and reverse lights along with a new licence plate light.

All metal is very solid, all cab mounts and floors are very solid. The rocker panels, cab corners are all very solid too! The Texaco sign on the doors are a decal and can be easily removed.

This truck is safe to drive virtually anywhere.

This truck is being sold with a Valid Ontario Safety Inspection Certificate.
