Description for GMC Other 1952

Just a neat truck. Very solid outfit. Starts. runs. shifts. drives great. 2 speed shifts right. Someone's project truck. They had put new tires on. Apparently had worked over the brakes. Converted it to 12v alternator system. We did a quick squirt on it 3 years ago with some paint that was laying around. Nobody pays any more for a nice paint job so I was hauling some gravel and junk. so just painted it so it wasn't embarassing. Has sat out enough that it has some chips and the paint was over all the original dings. but no rust. The only rust I have found is a dab in the driver's front corner floor of cab(see Pics). This was in one of our buildings with a load of seed wheat on it until 6 months ago. It got moved out to unload and I drove into the new taillights with the bucket on the loader and lost any enthusiasm to finish it. The Caravan seats will clean up nice with no holes or wear. but they are just sitting on 2x4s. Brakes and battery had both gone down. Both are starting to come back up. If they come all the way up: good for you; otherwise this is how it is selling. Brakes require pumping to stop. so they will need bled to be safe. Truck always started up great on it's own; which is why I was using it. The great 228 engine pulled my load up out of my gravel pit great. Hoist dumped it fine. Stands up tall when lifted. Engine doesn't smoke blue. Gauges work. Doesn't overheat. Can't read the odometer. but I put what most of these old farm trucks have for mileage. It sounds very good. Anyway it is a cool old truck that doesn't look like the nieghbor's. Interior got the same quick paint and doesn't have the headliner or door panels back on it. Wipers. parklights. and dome light are laying on the floor. Battery cover is there. too. Contact us if you need measurements for shipping. Should ship at same charge as a regular cab long bos dually pickup. I think he cut the box down to 10 foot. This should be about 19'x7. 5'. Should weigh in around 7. 00 pounds.
