Description of 1988 GMC Sierra 2500

NO RESERVE!
1988 GMC Sierra C2500 3/4 ton truck. This was a basic work truck with a rusted out bed when I got it. I replaced the bed and tailgate, put in a bed liner, gave it some paint, new wheels, and swapped the engine, etc. This was a fun project truck and toy for the past 10 years but now it's time for something new and bigger to fit the family. The standard cab just won't do anymore. Here is a list of the details: 8 foot bed with plastic drop in liner Rebuilt (several years ago) 350 motor bored out to 355 I believe. Carbureted engine (told it was originally from 70s Impala SS) Edlebrock carb, intake, air cleaner - shows pitting & needs polished. Holley fuel pressure regulator Performance rebuilt transmission by Kellen Performance Transmission. Shift kit with high stall torque converter. Brand new high torque starter and alternator 3" exhaust Roll pan Clear tail lights CD head unit Interior redone years ago. Paint is ok but shows some wear again, headliner sags a bit. Seats are in great shape. No rust on bed! Dents and dings... but no rust. A bit on bottom of doors you can see in pics. I have factory steel wheels with tires. Both sets of tires like brand new (spent $1000+ on those alone). Truck used to be beautiful... but is now far from a show truck. You can see the paint on hood and roof peeling. There are some chips and dings and quirks (passenger side door lock doesn't work from outside but have a new lock for it) Gauges haven't worked right since engine swap. Speedometer works though. I have a class 3 trailer hitch for it too. (Not installed)
Brand new inspection and emissions! Approx 167,000 mi on odometer For a video of the engine running check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6b3mNM6hhc
