1974 GMC Sierra 1500. This a great truck that should be lightly restored and put into a collection. Trucks of this era are rising very fast and this is a fantastic one due to condition and options. California to Arizona. That's it's whole life since it got brought into Georgia last year. This is COPO truck, special order built for the original owner. I wish COPO Camaro but it's not. BODY- Extremely solid rust free body all over. Maybe the most rust free vehicle I've ever had. No rust repairs. Not even the cab corners have rust in them. Couple age love taps here and there, absolutely nothing serious. Everything is all there. Underneath is awesome. Even still has the factory heat shield under the bed. This truck is good enough to do a frame off restoration on, it's sure to be a high dollar truck but I can't take it there. Could use new wood in the bed, it's not the worst but new wood when it's painted would be the right thing to do. Check out www bedwoodandparts dot com. That is the place for TONS of kinds of wood for truck beds. All lights work, things that should work do work. INTERIOR- Complete and all there. Needs a freshening up. Nothing missing. Parts are everywhere and are cheap for trucks. It does come with a new Saddle color carpet kit. Has nice original owners manual. Original owner's name on the GMC factory plaque. Needs a seat cover, dash cover or pad, arm rest pads. Door panels are good. ZERO rust in the floors, doors, around windows, etc. Has A/C. Headliner is there, needs simple glued back into place. Doors shut tight. Odometer show 75k plus. I was told that is the correct mileage. DRIVETRAIN- Completely original and untouched. Rare to find an old truck that has NEVER been messed with. Factory as it comes. 350 4bbl, Turbo 400. Stock and original from the air cleaner on down. Engine fires right up! It got a light tune up and fuel pump recently.The complete Tire Jack and Tire Iron set is still in it's factory location underhood. Could use a set of tires if you are going to drive it a bunch.
