Description of 1950 GMC Other

This is a rare 1950 GMC model truck made in 1949 with the classic Chevy front end and Grill with GMC branding. What I've read is GMC frames were a bit stronger than the Chevy frame. Not sure how true that is. I cleaned the truck up a few years back to remove the rotten wood from the bed and squirrel nuts in the cab. The tattered upholstery had a 1949 date. This truck was made in Oakland California. It has not been in use since the 60s. It was sitting in our pasture for more than 40 years but is in a place now it can be loaded on your trailer. Cab corners and floor boards have rust through as well as the cab around the back window and a bit on the hood. Tires are rotted out. This is a project vehicle for your hot rod build where you need a solid frame and a body to start with. This is the first step down that road to your custom dream car. I've had lots of people bug me to buy this truck for $500 or $600 so that's where I'm starting the bidding. I'm ready to let it go to the highest bidder. This has the original engine and transmission. The engine is free and not frozen. This is a project vehicle and being sold AS IS. You will need to bring a trailer and haul it off. We have a signed title from my grandfather who passed way years ago. This auction is for the complete frame and body of the truck with title including the flat bed frame. The spring tooth on the back is not included. Good luck bidding.
