Description of 1974 GMC Jimmy K5

1974 K5 GMC Jimmy (same as a Chevy Blazer)-Smog exempt-full-convertible -4wd 1/2 ton -6 lug axles-Smallblock 350 V8-TH350 auto transmission -203 T-case w/part-time kit and locking hubs-A/C all there but not connected (hvac controls are stuck in the cab...no belt on compressor)-factory tach cluster (not currently working)-new brakes all around, new booster and master cylinder-new shocks-new radiator-new tires (less than 500 miles)-new battery-new softtopper (no hardtop)-new windshield-new starter and ignition switch
Runs, drives and stops well. Occasionally has a hot start issue where starter doesn't seem to engage properly. It has never not started for me it just is finicky at times. Could be a starter shimming issue, flexplate and/or timing issue. Haven't had time to diagnose it. This is Definitely a project. Would make a perfect hunting rig as is. See pictures for vehicle condition. If you're looking for a show truck this is not it. Needs rust repair...A lot...(rockers, core support, wheel openings, firewall)Floors are pretty solid.Comes with original driver door but it does not have glass, regulator or interior door panel.
