Description of 1971 GMC Other Custom

I have a truck for sale. 1971 GMC. LONGBOX!!!. CST interior. Hot Red. 1/2 ton-5 lug lowered. 62. 69 original miles-I confirmed this from the original owner prior to purchasing. came from colorado in 80's. I've owned it for 26 years. the first winter storage included a tear down for "quick paint" because the Lacquer was cracked. that turned into a full ground up and has only seen a few thousand miles since then. The truck has only been rained on ONCE since 1989-on the way home from a 2004 cruise in. and was immediately washed once home. The truck has been pampered since new and has never been rusty or neglected. I have a clean Wisconsin title in my name and it notes that it was previously titled in Colorado. Chassis and body:black single stage frame. red exterior with base clear under the cab and box(I have waxed the underside of this truck) exterior and engine compartment were squirted. cleared. scuffed. re-cleared. then scuffed and buffed-It's deep!. shaved. nosed. decked. Interior is red base/clear. Inside the box is base/clear. Rollpan is steel and welded and molded in. Tailgate handle has been removed and filled(there's a latch on the inside) tailgate still opens and closes if you choose to put anything in the back. I haven't walked in the back of this truck with shoes on since it was painted-only socks. TCI 11" break-a-way nitrous converter. Deep TCI finned pan. large trans cooler in front of radiator. 1350 joints. 4 1/2" driveshaft. moser 33 spline axles. moser spool. richmond 3. 73 gears. moser c-clip eliminators. 5/8 studs on rear. aluminum "pusher" cover on 12 bolt rear. Centerline Auto Drags (15x8. 5 front. 15x10. 5 rear). New ET streets on the back(bias 26x11. 5-15). BF Goodrich Comp T/A R1 roadrace (radial) tires on front 265/50-15. new 130 amp alternator. Fuel cell with sender for factory gauge. Holley red pump. Battery is in the box-in a battery box- with a flaming river shutoff switch. Factory non-power disc brakes and drums in the rear. stops great. he air filter assembly was removed for the picture only. this engine has never been driven or ran without the air filter assembly intact. Interior:The interior has a pair of race buckets with covers. on gray carpet with the factory rubber mat in the front. 5 point seatbelts on both seats. a rollbar from a blazer is bolted to the floor and can be easily removed-without cutting. a B&M megashifter. GM/Autometer monster tach with external shift light. factory gauges all work and are hooked up(volts. oil pressure. temp) The factory speedometer and fuel gauge also work. The headlights and tail lights work as they should (except the reverse lights-they are removed). the full heater/defroster is intact and works great for the late night cruises on the cool days and nights. the glovebox lid has a super shiny black and was also based. cleared. scuffed. cleared. then scuffed and buffed. the dashpad is crack free and in excellent condition. There is no radio and the spot is covered by a cloth covered panel. crank windows. the nitrous bottle fills the space between the seats behind the shifter and can be easily turned on if the need arises.
