Description of 1973 GMC Custom 2500 Classic Collector Stock Pickup Truck

No reserve auction on my 1973 rust free GMC 3/4 ton pickup. 8 ft. bed. 350 V8 and automatic transmission. The brakes have been checked & have 70 percent left. Radiator recently flushed and and she runs cool. The truck has dual tanks. each 20 gallons. with a switch in the cab to select the tank. Smooth carburetorprovides an easy start up. The truck runs and drives well. Keep in mind that she is 47 years old so there may be some minor details that may need attention: wiper blades, alignment, .etc. The Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. The 1973 Square Body GMC is one of the most iconic Pick-Ups of the century. Clean lines and ample power makes it a very popular collector vehicle.
This barn find has had only two owners and it has never left southern California. It has spent most of its life sitting with a 8 ft camper on it's bed. Hence the only miles showing on the Odometer is a remarkable 30 thousand. Right after we acquired it we made contact with the original owners grandson and he confirmed the mileage was probably correct and gave us quite a bit of history. Never the lass for legal purposes we are listing "Actual miles unknown."The 8 foot camper was removed and reveled a near perfect box and unused tail gate. The small block V8 and automatic transmission perform like new.The factory AC will need to be charged up and serviced, Dash has one Sun crack. Seats are original and need to be reupholstered. No Radio. We put on new beauty rings and wheel caps but the thread isn't quite right so I would recommend addressing that issue unless you have a different wheel in mind.Good tires an Brakes.Never been hit or repainted. The paint is a combination of factory yellow and touched up original to reflect a barn find. Great patina. There is no evidence of body damage or rust-outs. It would be a great candidate for a total repaint if you prefer that "new-truck" look..This one of the best examples of a rust free California vehicle that I have seen. clean sharp edges on sills and wheel wellsIt has dual tanks and step / tow bumper. The bidding is starting out at 7500, there is no reserve. You are welcome to come see the truck or have someone come and inspect it for you. I would not be selling this truck but I just got this 46 Chevy (see photo) and it's taking up all my time.We are close to a shipping port and can deliver to the docks for exporting. There is a clear pink (title). If you want to register it here in California there may be back registration fees. The truck does not leave until paid in full.Check out my Feedback,If the winning bid is over 10K I will help arrange and split the costof USA shipping. This is not rocket science just be a honest person wanting a good vintage truck. Feel free to call me for more details 714 244 63 5 three.Bank transfer works best.
