Description of 1969 GMC Other

1969 GMC C10 Truck We purchased truck in November from Buffalo. WY. Truck had been in light right front deer hit of some sort. damaging the right front fender. grille. and bumper. ExteriorVery clean and straight body. no rust. Body damaged in a deer hit. we replaced fender with new US steel fender. New front chrome bumper and reconditioned grille. Unfortunately the damage to the factory fender was to severe to fix. so we opted to paint the new fender rather than leave it black. So a little of the awesome Patina on the truck was lost. There Is no rust on this very straight truck. and it could be fully painted with ease. BrakesRebuilt Factory Drum Brakes with 6 lug wheels has good tread on the radial chrome spoke rims tires. nbsp;Factory Suspension. freshly greased up. Front Coil Springs. Rear Leaf Springs. DrivelineSadly the #7 cylinder had burned exhaust valve so the original engine had to be pulled. we built this engine up and installed in our 54 Chevy. and took the New 350 Crate out of the 54 and installed it into 69 GMC . Engine runs excellent and is very responsive. Has Edelbrock alum. intake and 600 cfm electric choke carb. new dual exhaust system. We also removed the factory 4 speed. and installed a new clutch and a freshly gone through S10 5-Speed Overdrive Transmission. Shifts smoothly and cruises down the highway. InteriorInterior Is original. with all original gauges working. Seat is vinyl and is worn some. there is a seat cover on it. The factory rubber mats were pretty ratty. so we removed them and have new factory black carpet. also have a new windshield to install and new stainless factory style mirrors Truck is very nice and straight rust free Farm truck. ready to be built up and slammed. or just drive the way it is.
