Description of 1968 GMC Sierra 3500

1968 GMC 3500 with 351v6 motor and dump bed with 65. 60 actual miles. This is a NO RESERVE auction. We are regretfully selling this truck because we are moving and cant take it with us. The truck does run and drive. the motor sounds good (damn good. all you could hear is the stump pulling power it has. with a little of the exhaust manifold leaking) On the note of exhaust manifold--I couldn't get the flange nuts broken loose and the manifold was cracked. so I was trying to get access to grind nuts off. There is no power where its at. so all I have is hand tools and a inverter. And with moving that's as far as I got. The truck does come with 2 good magnum exhaust manifolds and gaskets. When I got the truck it had no brake pedal at all. I replaced the master cylinder and it now has pedal. you will still need to check things out for yourself. I replaced the fuel pump. nbsp; The gas in the fuel tanks is old will need to cleaned out. (The truck ran on the tank behind seat but it was rough) haven't tried the aux. tank its about 43 gallons. Also has new oem battery tray and battery as well as alternator. This truck was a farm find. the guy I bought the truck from said the hoist works good but has a little leak in pump seal. after cleaning about 1/4 dust off of dash. it looks real good and I didn't see any cracks. This is a antique truck with a clean and clear Kansas title. nbsp;being sold as/is no warranty. Buyer pickup only. no shipping offered. Please look at pictures and feel free to ask any questions you have. The truck must be picked up within 7 days of close of auction. I believe this is a 351v6 Magnum-- it has the Stromberg carbarator and the bigger exhaust ports. On Apr-26-15 at 14:40:09 PDT. seller added the following information: The roof of the truck is in great shape. not dented in. On Apr-27-15 at 10:55:16 PDT. seller added the following information: The truck is not sitting on level ground. it is sitting on a slope.
