This is very cool looking truck with original paint. It gets lots of attention everywhere it goes and people love the patina. It has been a driver for over 3 years and been on several long road trips including Bonneville Salt Flats. This truck was finished in 2010 and we immediately took it on a 2500 mile trip to Bonneville Salt Flats for the Land Speed races and towed a trailer. This truck has been driven ever since and is my daily driver still to this day. This truck has been lowered approximately 9 inches from stock but still retains the stock springs and leafs from the Nova suspension. The front suspension clip was set of top of the original GMC truck frame at the firewall and welded and boxed to add strength. The front coil spring have not been cut. This allows for a very nice ride and not stiff at all. The rear leafs are attached to custom made shackles and mounts that are flipped from the original. This truck has been upgraded with a newer style independent front clip and drivetrain out of a 1977 Chevy Nova (approx. 75. 00 original miles on the car). This truck came off a farm in Idaho and has had its entire drivetrain upgraded to include the following: Front sub-frame clip with disk brakes out of 1977 Nova Small Block Chevy 305 motor with upgraded 4-barrel intake and Rochester carb – It has not been rebuilt but has been running good for several years now. Brand-new large. aluminum radiator from Speedway motors and an electric fan. Turbo 350 Transmission out of the ’77 Nova – stock configuration and not rebuilt to my knowledge Power Steering with a tilt column Nova 10-bolt rear-end Steel smoothy wheels made by Wheel Vintiques with custom offset to fit the new drivetrain and fenders. Custom made driveshaft to accommodate new chassis length Air bags over leaf springs in the rear to be used as overloads for towing Class 3 Hitch welded into rear of frame to accommodate towing camper or trailer Stock bench seat from Chevy Nova Gas tank relocated under the rear of the bed behind the hitch cross member – approx. 20 gallon capacity New Holly red electric fuel pump installed this year Light grey generic tight loop carpet installed on the cab floor New side window glass and window channeling (still very stiff to roll up but could be fixed) New side mirrors. taillights. headlights New Clipster Nova Chrome headers installed with all new 2” dual exhaust and dual flowmeter mufflers dumping out under the truck in front of the rear-end. All brakes. fuel lines. brake lines. rubber hoses. radiator hoses. top of motor gaskets (intake. exhaust. valve cover. etc. ) were all replaced/new when I built the truck. The body of this truck has not been touched and left just the way it was when I bought it. The body has tons of character and patina like I have never seen before. It gets a lot of attention due to the multiple colors and patterns. The white paint is oxidized and does turn objects white that rub up against it but a little was and that would help and make the truck have a nice sheen. The truck has several dents and some pretty good rust spots that could be fixed if desired. I tried to take photos of these areas to show them but the rust is in the cab corners and inside the cab on the roof and under the dash. The rust is through the cab on the corners. This truck is not perfect by far but has been very fun and we have been on a lot road trips and car shows. The things I know that should be fixed on the truck are: The stock gauges do not work (6 volt) but I have a set of aftermarket gauges for temp. volts. and oil pressure that do work mounted under the dash Doors are missing interior door panels and wind lace. This truck still needs work to make it completely sealed for the rain by replacing all the window rubber. door seals. etc. However. I still drive it in the rain and I don’t get wet. it is just not water tight in the cab. This is still an old truck so don’t it expect to not have rattles. squeaks. etc. but it is a much smoother. better ride than stock due to the upgraded suspension. No bumpers on the truck but I do still have the rear if you would like it as part of the deal The truck does have dents and some wrinkles in a couple of fenders. see photos for more details. Note: I have included several photos over the entire time this truck has been built and some photos show the truck with whitewall tires. The truck does NOT still have whitewall tires on it but the photos show what it looks like with them on it. I also have my shop logo on the truck at the moment but it will be removed prior to shipping the truck. I will not leave it on so please don’t ask. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. I tried to include everything I could in the description to give you all information possible. I will not accept any bids with people with less than 10 bids unless pre-approved. There is no truck like it out there with original paint this cool. and here is your chance to own it.
