Description of 1972 GMC Other 1500

1972 GMC Long Bed Pickup Truck. Similar to the Chevrolet C10. Built in the same Chevy factory in Fremont California in 11/71. Much rarer then the common Chevy C10. This truck is a true California survivor with the Z in the vin. number. I purchased this truck from a man in Eugene Oregon because the body was still in all original condition. Minor rust for a 43 yr old truck. Most of these trucks rusted away up North. It has the original paint still. You can see by the pictures that the paint is still awesome. It has some dings and dents and a few scratches here and there but it is only original once. It would make a great Shop Truck that could be used to tow just about anything.I had the complete drive train redone. It has a 3.73 Posi (Original/Rebuilt with better then new parts). The transmission is a 350 Turbo (Rebuilt with 2200 rpm stall converter) The engine is an amazing Ross Automotive Machine 350 with 393 HP. (Too many parts to list here). Comes with complete parts list. Engine has a 2 yr warranty that was given to me with purchase. Has about 2000 miles on engine and I have the Break-In/Dyno video with the HP rating. Engine has 202/1.96 Dart SS heads that are similar to the Camel Hump Heads used on Corvettes in the 1960's. Edelbrock Carb and manifold. It has aluminum headers with 3" exhaust to FlowMaster mufflers and 3" pipes bent out the side in front of rear tires. Three core aluminum radiator with dual fans. A lot of chrome and billet aluminum.I've redone the entire interior. Just about everything is new or cleaned up good as new. The complete duct system has new hoses. Anyone who has been behind the dash of one of these knows how hard it is to get the duct hosing in. It has a 200w stereo that appears stock until its digital face lights up. Has hook ups for iPod iPhone or mp3 player. I built a box for the 200w Kenwood speakers because I didn't want to drill holes in the kick panels. The truck has sound deadener underneath the the new carpeting. Originally it had rubber mats.Feel free to call or text with questions. (919) 270-6273 This would make a young graduate the talk of the town. NO RESERVE. I have over $17000 invested in this truck. Thanks for looking.
