Description of 1981 Honda Accord LX

Very Collectible and Hard to find. 1981 Honda Accord LX 3 door Hatchback. Desirable 5 speed manual transmission and very clean. One owner. lots of paperwork including bill of sale. window sticker. manual. to prove it. No rust on body or floors. Muffler has a hole as seen in pics. Car was last registered in 1992. I replaced the original carburator (included). drained gas tank (factory drain plug in tank). replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. just changed oil and filter. brand new battery. Runs and drives but needs a tune up. Doesn't seem to like the cold weather. Transmission shifts smooth. good clutch. Quite peppy for 107 CI of power. Stops good. discs up front drums in back. no line leaks. Tires are old but look okay. Factory AC but needs a charge. 2 dings in hood edge trim. driver door doesn't want to stay latched all the way (catches but will loosen up if that makes sense). muffler hole makes it sound beefy. Small spot at bottom of back window. passenger side. see pics. Alternator has a small growl to it but charges fine. Really no big deal. Other than that and a tune-up. it's a very nice car. Even smells good. Headliner is in great shape. no rips in seats. radio delete. engine bay is clean. very clean underneath as seen in pics. No dash cracks. steering wheel cracks. all exterior plastic in great shape. Floor mats are nice. not dried out or cracked. Shop manual included. Clear title. Please ask any questions you may have.
