When this car waschosento be fully restored it was searched for for a long time to find one that was already very clean and not already tampered with. Thisparticularone is rare because its a very low serial number, 39!! And its all matching numbers! There are not many 1971 AZ600 let alone this low of a serial number with matching numbers. This car was fully taken apart except the motor/transmission (Original and still running well when restoration started). To start off all of the suspension was taken apart and all sent out for powder coat/paint. The front struts are still in great condition. There are also new replacement rear shocks. The brake booster was sent out and rebuilt. The Gas tank has been painted and thenprofessionallytreated on the inside.New/rebuilt front axles.The rear leaf springs were all powder coated and ready to be bolted in place. The rear axle was powder coated and ready to be put back on the car. Many othermiscellaneouslittle things were also powder coated. All five wheels have been powder coated along with new tires mounted/balanced. A new genuine honda exhaust system is included. The Interior was all stripped out. There is a new genuine honda head liner(along with original). A new/used dashboard in amazing shape (original included). There are an extra pair of front seats. Brand new carpet kit. The shift knob andshifterassembly is in amazing shape. The original door panels included with new reproductions. All of the body body/paint work for this car wasprofessionaldone and looks amazing. All of the bumpers are straight and new Chrome along with any other chrome pieces on the car. The car started with a rust free car and looks amazing. It was painted to the original factory Blue.
The few things that still need to be done are rebuild the brake calipers, aster cylinder, nd rear brake cylinders.The seats will need to bereupholstered(kits online for $350 through Bill Colford). Steering wheel will need to be restored to make perfect. Besides reassembly of this car there is not much to be done with an exception of the few things I mentioned.With just a little bit of time and love this car could be a very amazing show quality car.More money has been invested in this car then the buy it now price.
