Earlier this year there was a Teal 91 Civic Si listed here on ebay that has only 73,000 miles. The seller of that vehicle was asking $14,000.This Civic here is a virtual twin to that car, nd has only 40,000 more miles on it. The car was sold and lived most of its life in the rust free climate of San Diego. I purchased the car from a dealer who took the trade in from the original owner. Since that time, he car has been protected and NEVER seen salt or snow. It has been stored most of the time in a dry heated garage. Not only that, his car is amazingly unmolested, ven to the point of still having the original radio block out plate covering the center console!!It has never had a cold air intake, r a lowering suspension, r boy racer exhaust or anything else done to "improve" it. The only modification is a strip of dark window tint on the top of the windshield and on the side windows to protect the interior from the California sun. I will let the photos speak for themselves... To be really perfect, he car could use some minor issues addressed...-there is a small area about 1/2" x 2" in size on the hood where the paint has beenscratched or worn away which should be touched up.- it has air conditioning(all A/C parts are present, owever it has not been tested)- the tires all hold air, ut are old and cracked and probably should be replaced soon. Any questions, lease ask... VERY LOW RESERVE!!! Less than half of the $14,000 that the other Teal hatchback was asking, nd Less than the Red 90 Si Hatchback(which had more than 155,000miles) that ended earlier today for $7000..!! Plus my car has a cleaner interior and no accident history... When I bought this car, didn't think I would ever sell it. The ONLY reason it is up for sale now is because I need more space in my garage due to the recent purchase of a EDM Civic SiR... .. While other tuning shops are focused on doing swaps and other customization to the 1980's-90's era CRX's and Civics, e are focused on doing correct and proper RESTORATION work to bring these cars back as closely as possible to their original condition and specification as they were when they appeared in Honda showrooms. This is no easy task, s Honda does not support their cars after they have reached this age and virtually no NOS parts are available for the CRX at this point in time. Therefore, e have gone to great lengths to search out, ind, nd horde as many NOS and good condition used parts for these cars as possible, nd also we have developed specific techniques to restore and refurbish parts of the cars (such as the plastic body panels and rubber moldings) that are simply not available anymore.
