Description of 1991 Honda Accord SE

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1991 Honda Accord SE with just 90k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Accord to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. While not perfect, please keep in mind that this is technically an antique car...so the fact that it's still even here gives it a few basis points, in my book. The silver finish shows some age but is presentable and shines well, considering. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. As you can see in the photos, there are a few cosmetic issues, but nothing horrible. There are a few small spots where rust bubbles are visible under the paint but, again, nothing horrible. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos to admire how well preserved this well optioned Accord came in. I would rate the interior of this Accord SE to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The one thing that struck me most about this Accord, aside from the low mileage and the fact that these cars just don't exist anymore, is that this is an Accord SE...which is the top trim level and very, very rare to find. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. This Accord SE comes with two sets of floor mats, one carpet and one all weather. The little white ring you see in the driver's footwell looks like some stuff stuck to the carpet where the previous owner attempted to glue a floor mat in place to keep it from sliding around. I took a second to mess with it and it does come off...I just didn't have the time to go after all of it. The rare leather seats show some wear, but are in amazing condition for their age. The power windows, locks, mirrors, and sunroof all work properly. The original stereo has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player, which powers up and appears to be working properly. The factory antenna is not up, so I couldn't get it to tune in any stations. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner still blows ICE COLD AIR! The trunk is spacious and clean. Pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this well optioned Accord. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and admire that fact that someone only drove this Accord 90k miles over the last 30 years and managed to keep it this nice. Mechanically, this Accord appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.2L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an old car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. This old Accord drives surprisingly nice and feels very composed on the road. There is a slight vibration detectable in the steering wheel, at highway speed, but is most likely from sitting and not being driven. All in all, this is a stand up example of a car that is next to impossible to find anymore. By now, most of these are in junk yards all rotted out or have a billion miles. Finding a well kept, low mile example is like finding a needle in a haystack when you weren't even looking for it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
