Description of 1990 Honda Civic

I bought this Honda in 2006 and used it as a daily driver for many years. I moved out of state and now need to sell it! Not a car to take cross country :). Fuel pump within last 5K. Timing belt within last 20K. Tires or decent but may need a patch on one of the rears. Has been sitting for a few months and may need a jump and/or new battery. Comes with a stereo with aux input. The engine runs ok but burns a lot of oil. Definitely needs oil every time you fill up. You can see some smoke in the exhaust from the oil. Heat works great. No AC. Used to get 40 MPG but I think it's closer to 30 these days. Clutch is fine. shifts well though stickshift is "loose". Doesn't grind in any gears though. Some rust here and there. Interior is fine. what you'd expect for a 24 year old car. Years ago I took this civic across country. I left it in CO when I moved to use when I come out to visit. but the registration is expired now so I'm going to sell to the highest bidder. I can't guarantee it will pass emissions. Manual locks and windows. Back right door will not open (broken handle/latch). Trunk floor mat has some water damage. Rust around rear fenders. under headlights. etc. . but nothing that prevents it from being driven. Has automatic seat belts with a motor-driven track that moves them up and down when you get in and out of the car. apparently a feature of early 90s cars that didn't have airbags. E-brake works but just barely. Email me if you have questions. The engine is burning oil. No reason it can't be driven as is (I've simply been adding oil when I drive it) but the engine would need new o rings to run right. A few years ago the compression on the engine was checked at Hoshi Motors in boulder and turned out fine (don't remember exact numbers) but I think the engine is starting to get tired. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: I live out of state but will be in Colorado on December 19th. The buyer must be able to meet me OR arrange for the vehicle to picked up ON December 19th in Longmont. CO. You must arrange for transportation from there. The car can be driven (short distances recommended) but you will need to supply license plates or a temp tag. I will have the title and keys. Also. please send me an email if you are bidding on this item and have 0 or low feedback on your ebay profile. I reserve the right to cancel bids. Thanks!Danoco14
