Description of 1994 Honda Civic

*****I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME. I HAVE THIS CAR POSTED LOCALLY. AUTOTRADER. CRAIGSLIST. AND OTHER SITES AND WILL SELL AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE***** Call 858-753-8546 if you are interested in this car. Bought this car for $4500 a little less than 2 years ago. Sine then. Ive fixed lots of issues and made upgrades. I've probably put 40k miles on it since. and along the way fixed many small issues since it was my only daily driver. I also spent some good money on upgrades. I wanted a hatch that had a CA State Referee Bar'd B18C1 swapped into it and this car had a fresh B18C1 with Type-R head and LS crank. Due to needing to purchase a car sooner than later for work. I am now posting this on eBay. Craigslist. Autotrader in order to sell the car as fast as possible. if you want it hurry because I'm posting it everywhere. The Good. B18C1 swapped with legit CARB Sticker. Car throws no codes. no check engine light. Has OBD1 P72 ecu so passes smog no problem. B18C1 block LS crank Type-R head GSR Hydro transmission with no grinds. Has. so I'm told (never opened it up). a new clutch and Fidanza flywheel. Should have 40k miles on it now. Had a custom 2. 5" exhaust installed $350 with stainless MagnaFlow resonator and dyno max super turbo muffler so that it's quiet. Stock manifold. Brand new catalytic convertor $250 installed 2 weeks ago. New battery $130. Double Ground Wires. Heavy-duty (military grade) battery terminals. New NGK Spark Plug Wires $45 New NGK Iridium Spark Plugs $25 Has Function Form 2 coilovers ($800. about 3 yrs old) Has new 205. 50. 15 Kuhmo tires $375 Car had no AC. so I paid $600 to have AC installed since it's a daily driver. Car has no PS. but I didn't want it as it drives and steers fine for me. I stripped the floorpan clean and added $100 of sound deadening to entire floorplan (not rear hatch area) - Its the good quality stuff so you can remove it if you want but it's more solid for a daily driver with it. Rear rotors and pads $80 New starter $110 Knock sensor $100 Ignition switch $50 Ignition lock cylinder $30 Water temp sensor $35 Thermostat $12 Fan switch $35 Fan $60 Rear Hatch Gas Struts $50 (to hold up rear hatch) Alternator belt $20 RIMS - Rota 15" Slipstreams Rear Disc Brake Conversion for 4 Wheel Disc Brakes $125 - Brand New in the Box Axles (see below under "The bad") $20 - Brand New OEM Honda Cam Seals (cam gear side. see below under "The bad")) Probably some other stuff I forgot over the last year. The interior is extremely clean - dash. seats. door panels. etc are very nice. The carpet is original but in ok shape. I was going to eventually replace it but it's fine for now since I bought new OEM floor mats $70. Seats are in mint condition Acura Integra seats. Perfect shape. Beautiful seats. Carbon fiber hood and Duckbill (hood is clean just needs a good polishing. duckbill needs sand and re-clear). The bad. I want to be as honest as I can about the condition of the car. The car needs bodywork and paint and I bought it knowing that. Best course of action is buying a new front bumper and fenders for about $250 total (or less). and then doing the bodywork on the rest of the car and then getting it painted - that was my plan. Other than that it's a pretty solid car. As I said I drive this car every day. I planned on keeping it and turboing it but life took over. now I have to get out of the game for a while. Using money for down payment on new car so no trades please. Engine runs very good and pulls hard. Tranmission has no grinds. At high RPM say 6500-7000 RPM the motor sometimes smokes some - could be worn valve seal or ring but only does this when racing at high RPM - normal driving is normal. One of the axles has a slight click sound around hard corners (not really noticeable) - I bought brand new axles because I'm a perfectionist and this was my daily driver and just never got around to replacing them - they are included here with purchase of the car. Car has an oil leak from the cam seals on the driver side (cam gear side). I bought brand new cam seals and have included with purchase of car. Car has salvage title but didn't bother me at all. since these cars are so old. if you get into a little fender bender accident the insurance company automatically gives these cars salvage titles. Other than that its a great car and like I said Ive probably put 35k-40k miles on the car in the last 20 months. Selling the car now to buy a Honda Accord to more easily fit the 2 kids. If I had a garage this car would not be for sale. but unfortunately I have nowhere to store the car. sad to see it go.
