Description of 1959 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Retractable

1959 Ford Fairlane Retractable Hardtop. This car was last on the road in 1979. The paint and body exterior is original. This car has never been crashed. There are however a few dings and scratches mostly from storage. The body has been off the frame and the motor. trans . rakes. steering. and rear end have been rebuilt. new exhaust. shocks. battery. Radiator recored. New carpets. seats and door panels redone. New tires. Headliner needs help. I have driven around the block and the car runs pretty good. However it does need some adjustments. The radio. wipers and speedometer are not currently working. The top goes up and down. sometimes normal. sometimes needs help. The bumpers have been rechromed and the front grill bar also. This car is a desert car from eastern Washington. No rust trough at all. some light surface rust on untreated inner panels as expected on a car of this age. This car is a cool driver as is. Or is a perfect start on an easy restoration. I have restored 10 year old cars that were not this nice.
