1955 vw oval. body off sandblasted and painted about 15 years ago. garage kept. many new parts. many original parts. new carpet and upholstery . many hours spent. moving need to thin herd. has semiphores and will need battery. motor put in and attach wiring . sold as is no warrantytitle in handno bondo. tons of pictures that show restoration . needs battery i was keeping it 6 v so need starter . has 5 wheels and tires but you will probably put new tires on when you drive it. way too many things to list everything but in 1999 took body off. had everything sandblasted to bare metal. welded sheet metal and ground down. painted. clear coated at professional painter. 4 fenders and hood are aftermarket however i have the set of 4 original fenders in avg shape for year (usual rust and dents) and hood that are included if buyer wants them. must let me know . in other words they are not for sale separate but will offer them to the buyer . have a complete 1200 motor that turns and should fire. i believe off a 62 and another lower i believe a 64 or visa versa. original tranny. if it matters i can check for buyer if that is the hold up in making a decision. this is the early 55 model and differs from the later 55 so it has semiphores. the different ebrake and small tail lights. new wiring harness is installed. . the motor is out of it . but this is sold as is and not turn key. however i do have the original key!. alot of sweet love went into restoring this. new heater channels. new floors. the floors are 1955 however not stamped for early 55 but for later. if you want early 55 floors with the other stamp then you will have to disassemble car and do that. not sure why you would but letting you know. new hard brake lines bent and installed. new master cyclinder. new fuel shut off valve. gas tank cleaned and sealed. all original glass. new door panels need installed but have. new matching red with white piping seat overs installed. new this new that. have original ice pick door handles . rear t handle and front hood handle. they are pitted and really accent the car better than new ones . reused the black rubber seals on the windows as they fit perfect. mice got mohair headliner so put in perforated one but did not install as original would. insted did top part of ceiling and made nice door pillar cushions as you will see in pictures. no biggie to do it as original someday. original speedo i installed the color tints inside. original sun visors. og seats all around and doors. vin plate matches tunnel stamp and title and found vin one other place on car hardly anybody knows so will share where with new owner lol. alot of nice replacement parts like door striker. headlight switch. wheel cylinders. ebrake cables. the thing under the butterfly window for tension. felt channels. it isn't perfect but it is super sweet. there are maybe 4 small scratches in paint under 4 inches or was it 2 scratches under 2 inches?. i dunno but i asked 2 painters said no biggie they can blend in someday. they always look bigger to us. i'm selling because im moving. i'll haul with me if need be but. yeah. obviously this wasnt a buy and flip car. bought it in late 1990's and had it here and there working on it there and here and never had enough time to just do it all but got close. compared to what i see elsewhere online i feel it is priced right. i will entertain logical offers but i will ignore dumb ones. sorry i'm an idiot like that. do i want to sell this?. no not really who in their right mind would. will i? sure for approx the price listed. thanks for reading and i'm willing to answer any legit questions. have multi piece new black carpet kit as well that goes with it. left just enough "work" for next person to be psyched alot easier than most. just ask for link to more pix i fyo9u need. because i dont see where i can post a link to more pictures . peace
