Description of 1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. Very highly optioned car that is 95 % complete with new parts. Factory J code with dash tag. door tag. rear end (3. 25) and transmission tag. 4 speed toploader with correct shifter. Very nice floor pans with drivers rear being replaced at one time. A battery had been sitting upside down in there for many years. Undercoated now as well. All suspension is brand new. All brakes are brand new and in the box. Disc on front. Correct 9 inch rear end with 3. 25 gears. GT style wheels. Car has had a new 1/4 put on the left side. It was explained to me that it had set in a garage for many years and had been beat on by an older gentleman getting in and out of his car (?). Very nice body for a restoration. Originally Gulf stream aqua with aqua décor according to Marti. I have all new Black deluxe interior. carpet. door panels. seat covers. dash pad. Car is equipped with factory tachometer. tilt wheel. both upper and lower consoles. louvered hood. fold down that has not been cut for speakers. There is a 302 engine that is non matching numbers. New valances. bumpers. export brace. weatherstripping. All carlite glass with nice trim. This car will be a very high end car when completed with a minimal amount of work.
