Description of 1975 International Harvester Other

This is a 1975 Loadstar 1600. Has a V8. Used it to haul a couple thousand bushels of corn and beans last fall. Runs good. Has exhaust leak. Needs new bed boards as some have rotted out. **I've taken all the boards off the bed. Comes with box bed that will hold about 300 bushel. (Box isn't currently on it, ut it comes with it.) Dump works good. The back driver side wheel has the brake line capped off because the brake line rusted through. The other brake lines have been replaced somewhat recently. Stops good at the moment, ut I would put a new brake line on there before you put any load on it. This truck is old and definitely is a work/farm truck. Mileage unknown. Engine doesn't make any strange noises but is really loud with exhaust leak. The tires are good all the way around. The front wheels have been replaced with non-split rims. It's been sitting most of the year and could probably use a tune up. I drove it back and forth last year to the grain elevator about 15 miles away. If you are going to be driving far you might want to trailer it. Only the oil gauge works inside. Has two speed axle and it works. 5 speed manual transmission. Pops out of third sometimes if you don't have hand on stick. Clutch holds good.
