Got this nice Scout 80 from a friend of mine that had it sitting out back for many years, he bed had filled with leaves from the tree overhead so there is some rust that I painted over in the bed with POR15 to seal it from further decline. I was thinking a diamond plate insert would cover it nicely. The seat was recovered before he parked it so the top of the pass. side that was exposed to the sun got a little cooked and the seam is splitting.Truck was painted silver years ago but I don't see any evidence of major damage or bondo, ust little dings and dents,paint is oxidizing but still looks cool because its silver underneath.Original color was Yellow.This truck is too small for me to drive, 'm 6'4'' and all leg, eat will not go back any further! I have the slider windows and frames, ust haven't installed because I can't rest my arm on the window sill with them installed.Doors from a later Scout 80/800 with roll-up windows would be my first upgrade.Don't know what they were thinking!!! I also rebuilt the fuel pump and the carb and added a inline fuel filter. Also have the heater box to go with her, o ducting though. New Battery Is missing fuel tank access plate in bed, ee pic,just a flat piece that covers tank on pass. side. Rear step bumper with corner guards and tow ball,front bumper little tweaked. Has sill plate behind grill for mounting your winch Coolant is green and oil is clean! Scout is non-op in my name, eg. is due next Aug. Commercial Plates, ees should be about 90 bucks for Ca.
